Tokio Hotel had a big year in 2008, and the "Monsoon"
that the band caused left them with an MTV Music Video Award and
cemented them as a certified underground force in music. While not
certifiable pop stars their brand of pop and rock gave the German band
worldwide success.
The band recently returned home and Bill and Tom Kaulitz talked about how they spend their Christmas.

[Bill] "Every year we have two weeks off and then we travel
to... Tom and me, we always travel always to little islands but most of
the time New Year's we're not at home. We're somewhere else just
chilling at the beach. Christmas we are all at our families together
and celebrate and meet friends."
[Tom] "But the plan is to... I think we fly back to Germany and we go into the studio and write songs, record songs..."
[Bill] "...and Christmas just chilling with our loved ones..."
[Tom] "...and after Christmas we go right back into the studio."

Tokio Hotel recently released a DVD titled Tokio Hotel TV, which chronicles their life on stage and behind-the-scenes. A deluxe edition of the set contains a second disc entitled Future - The Road To The New Album,
and it features footage of the band on promotion tours and preparing
for their third studio album. The band hopes to finish the new album by
summer of 2009.

Tokio Hotel parle de leurs projets de Noël 2008

Tokio Hotel a eu une année chargée en 2008 et le “raz de marée” que le groupe a provoqué leur a permis de décrocher un MTV Music Video Award et de leur assurer une place dans le monde de la musique. Non-certifiés comme pop stars, leur nom rock a donné au groupe allemand un succès mondial.
Le groupe est récemment retourné à la maison, Bill et Tom Kaulitz expliquent comment ils passent leurs vacances de Noël.


Bill : “Tous les ans, on prend deux semaines de vacances et on part en voyage ... Tom et moi partons tout le temps dans de petites îles et la plupart du temps, nous ne sommes pas à la maison pour le Nouvel An. On le passe quelque part sur une plage. Pour Noël, nous sommes en famille et avec des amis”.
Tom : “Mais le but est de ... Je pense qu’on va retourner en Allemagne, aller en studio et écrire des chansons, les enregistrer, ...”.
Bill : “... Et on passe Noël avec ceux qu’on aime ...”.
Tom : “Et après Noël, on retourne directement en studio”.

Tokio Hotel a récemment sorti un nouveau DVD intitulé Tokio Hotel TV, dont les épisodes portent sur leur vie passée sur scène et backstage. Une edition Deluxe du coffret contient un second disque intitule “Future, The Road To The New Album” (le futur tourne vers le nouvel album), qui montre le parcours des garçons en promotion lors des tournées et la préparation de leur troisième album. Le groupe espère finir cet album pour l’été 2009.
