Young girls have always loved a good boy band. But the days of matching
outfits and coordinated dance moves are over, judging by the German
pop-rock quartet's success this year.

Fronted by 19-year-old twin brothers, the chart-topping,
multiplatinum "teenie" band - as they're known in their native land -
invaded our shores in May with their US debut, "Scream." Which is
pretty much exactly what Goth-lite teen girls (and their younger
sisters) did nonstop at all four of their New York shows.

Whether due to the appeal of androgynous frontman Bill Kaulitz's
porcupine-like hairdo or the band's politely rockin' tunes, they
managed to snag the viewer-awarded best new artist title at this year's
MTV Video Music Awards - beating out heavyweights like Katy Perry,
Jordin Sparks, Taylor Swift and tween queen Miley Cyrus. Seriously.

Les jeunes filles ont toujours aimés les bon groupes de garçons. Mais les jours des équipements de correspondance et des mouvements de danse coordonnés sont finis, jugeant par le succès du quartette (4 musiciens jouant ensemble Bill n'est pas musicien pourtant ) de pop-rock allemand cette année.

Face aux frères jumeaux de 19 ans,le groupe multiplatine "de Teenie" comme ils sont connus dans leurs pays natal, on envahi nos cotes en Mai avec leur début Américain, "Scream" qui est presque comme les filles adolescentes de Goth-lite (et leurs jeunes soeurs) qui ont fait non stop les quatre de leurs shows à New York.

Si c'est en raison de l'appel de la coiffure de l'androgyne Bill Kaulitz, semblable a un porc épic, ont réussit a obtenir grace aux téléspectateurs le prix du 'Meilleur nouvel artiste" aux VMA cette année. En battant des grands artistes comme Katy Perry, Jordin Sparks , Taylor Swift et Miley Cyrus. Sérieusement.
