A few years ago not only Germany but all Europe was crazy about
Tokio Hotel. We thought that they couldn't get any more popular . But
this year they rocked out America! They won an award in MTV video music
awards in the best newcomer category and it is a big chance to became
famous worldwide. Will they? It's seems like yes, they will be famous
worldwide. They started their musical career when they were 13 years
old and now they are about 20 years old. More and more people talk
about the Tokio Hotel phenomenon: just in Germany they have already
sold about 3 million albums, in some radio stations they are in better
position than Madonna! And millions of girls are learning german
language because they want to understand original Tokio Hotel lyrics .
More: tokio hotel started an international hysteria between teenagers :
everybody knows them, everybody likes them, everybody wants to be like
them. In " YouTube" you can find 150 000 tokio hotel videos. To calm
their fans every week they make episodes from backstage to their U.S.
site. They also write their tour diaries at mtv.com and MTV says that
these blogs receive more comments than any blogs before!
Where is the secret? The most important thing is that they have
a way of speaking to other young people. Tokio Hotel will be an
emotional support for every teenager which feel emotional crisis . In
their songs they talk about riot for those who cut their dreams' wings,
that you have to try to make your dreams a reality no matter what,
about true love and life difficulties. They showed to the world that
teenagers understand what is going on in the world and they can talk
about it as grown-ups. They say that everything is possible if you
really want something and if you try a lot. Producer David Jost talks
about first meet with Bill Kaulitz: Even then he looked like a person
which can change lives and situations. I was sure in 100%. that it was
only a question of time, when would their music receive an
international recognition.

On tour they like walking at the streets, at home – watch TV and listen to music.

Most annoying thing?
Silly journalists questions. One journalist asked us : what does
tokio hotel want to recommend to their fans? And Tom said: You are
talking to the wrong people, we hate people who say what to do and how
things should be done. Everyone has to go on their own way , to get
their own experience – we are trying to do that. But if they really
need a suggestion than it would be simple: do what you need, but if you
are a musician , play as much as you can.
What kind of girls you like?
Bill: romantic, funny, emotional.
Tom: beautiful, seducing.
Gustav: I like girls that you can talk with honestly, whole heartedly
Georg: sexy.

Dislikes.
Bill: flights. (on the plane)
Tom: when Bill pouts when I talk about adventures with girls.
Gustav: pop music.

Do you know that…
Bill found his style at Halloween party. Since then he has his
"Halloween" style everyday: he colors his hair, nails , does his make
up. He always tries to be dissimilar to his twin brother. When they
were little they had to wear t-shirts with their names so that people
could recognize them.
It is known that they will release a new album in December
.After Bills surgery they started to work on their new album. Bill
Kaulitz admitted that the silence ( he couldn't talk for 10 days) was
useful . Since then he is writing new songs every day, which means that
there is a lot of material for a new album. And of course Bill will
sing in German! Producer says that it's not a problem for fans from
other countries: They like to hear Bill singing in his native speech.
Fans will be upset when they hear that the band is going to
take some holidays. " We will make a new album and take some holidays-
says Bill Kaulitz. We have been working for 3 years with no break ,
thats why we want a pause." since we know that they are planning a new
tour in 2009, maybe that pause will be in future?
On the 30th of September in Berlin, Bills wax figure in "Madam Tussauds" museum was presented

After successfully appearing at MTV Video Music awards the band
is nominated at MTV Latin Music awards. These awards will be on 16th of
October in Mexico. Here Tokio Hotel is nominated in 4 categories:
Newcomer, song of the year ( Monsoon), ringtone of the year and bands
fan club in Venezuela is nominated in the Best Fan club category.
