TOKIO HOTEL ALBUM ENTERS THE TOP10 IN NORTH AMERICA!
The past weeks haven't been easy for rock band Tokio Hotel! Large parts
of the sold out Europe tour had to be cancelled due to singer Bill
Kaulitz's vocal chord problems - an operation followed to remove a cyst
from the front man's vocal chords. Not only was the operation a full
success in the end, also a huge triumph from North America just came in
even despite the cancelled tour dates in North America.
Tokio Hotel's Canadian record company released the information today
that the band's debut album "Scream" climbed the Canadian album charts
quickly - right to number six. According to Universal Canada Tokio
Hotel is now the first German band ever to manage entering the Canadian
charts so high!
Meanwhile, the band's single "Ready, Set, Go!" is on heavy rotation on
all major Canadian music TV channels and on the playlist of the
country's top radio stations. Another big step in the international
career of the young German rock band after having had a sensational
rise all over Europe in the past few years!
